Now i know how Google manage to be a great company. Google treats their workers well and helps local people around them.
I watch a program at TLC channel (I can't remember the title is). But the setting takes place at Google's kitchen and 1 of the cafeteria there at Google's company.
Google spent 20 million per year, providing free meals with hotel-standard's foods to their workers. They have 17 cafeterias there in their company where it is up to their workers which one they are prefer to go. The chefs at the cafeteria cooks different dishes everyday. Today might be Chinese style, tomorrow is Uzbekistan and so on. Then they will updated their menu that day into a website where all the other cafeterias will updated theirs too. A very systematic way which perform as a one stop center for the workers to easily browse what menu they which to have for that day so they can straightaway going there for lunch.
One good thing is, the raw materials and the ingredients they used in their meals came from the local farms. To help the local people and farmers, they will only cover places that are not more than 150miles from Google's based company. A win-win situations. They have a very fresh vegetables straightaway from the farm while the farmers have some money. Ngee..
