Interview lagi

Entry tunaikan janji dengan shima. haha.

1. Sabtu lepas walk in interview di Renaissance hotel, Kuala Lumpur untuk position junior manufacturing engineer di Ibiden Electronics Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. A company that produce printed wiring board for smartphone. This is my 2nd interview experience after Nitto Denko 3 bulan lepas. wakaka. Macam biasa berterabur. Niat pergi bukan nak dapat kerja tapi nak warm up interview skills. Interviewer dia adalah production manager kilang tuh, very soft spoken and down to the earth. Tak ada konsep brief yourself, dia selak resume and straightaway tanya je apa dia rasa nak tanya. Basic question like family, final year project, why chemical engineering tapi nak position nieh, what happen to Nitto Denko. lol. And pertama kali juga interviewer yang nak selak file sijil yang aku bawa. Pergi interview nieh dengan Shima.

2. After interview, gather rumah Azmeer yang buat kenduri kesyukuran (sebab kerja Mustang kot, hehe). Petang-petang buat teh, milo makan cokodok pisang, roti sardin. malam keluar jalan-jalan pergi I-City. With Shima, Siti, Yanti, Dila and Wan. end the day dengan makan KFC dekat seksyen 7.

3. Selasa petang dapat phone call dari Kimia Suchi Sdn. Bhd. untuk attend interview hari Rabu. Company tuh dekat jalan TUDM subang. dalam 10minit dengan rumah. Before pergi macam biasa google map dulu walau dah ada Waze. Ikut google map dlm 11 minit saja. so Rabu, interview pukul 2.30, pukul 2petang baru keluar rumah. Benda paling bangang sebab tak percaya dekat waze dan ikut jalan google map. sampai depan pintu gerbang TUDM. abang pegang riffle tanya nak pergi mana. Aku cakap Subang. Dia cakap, "mana boleh pergi Subang ikut pintu TUDM dik oi. U turn balik. Kawasan nieh untuk TUDM je." Ok sekian. malu tak hilang sampai sekarang. Then proceed ikut jalan Waze, keep left dengan turn left pown tak boleh beza, salah jalan, termasuk highway NKVE, jammed kereta tak bergerak dalam 4 km juga. Aircond kereta 20C pown peluh boleh keluar macam air terjun. maka finally decide to call back the company and minta schedule interview balik if possible. Alhamdulillah, manager dia cakap boleh. hehe.

4. So Rabu pagi attend the interview. Mula2 manager dengan hr saja. Both Indian. Then comes the managing director join skalik. orang putih. lol. Maka terpaksa aku 'skipping' English sampai tergeliat-geliat lidah. Interview paling lama dan paling banyak soalan barangkali. Ini antara soalan-soalan dia ya Shima: hehehe

• Why your name AS is seperated from ELEYANA? and how to pronounce your name?
• Why chemical engineering?
• Why only 6 weeks from Nitto Denko? (Dalam hati, Hellooo sir, 8 weeks ok. kah3)
• How do you process sugar?
• Why need to melt the sugar? At what temperature?
• Is there any chemical used in sugar processing?
• What,  sulphur? What is the purpose of sulphur? How do they separate it from the sugar then?
• After which process do the molasses formed?
• What they do with the molasses?
• What happen to the machines and equipment used to crush sugarcane? 
• Why raw sugar in white colour? I thought its brown..
• How do they form the crystall? What parameter they used? Density? or what?
• How the operator check the crystall size then?
• What about your final year project?
• So this propylene oxide in gas or liguid? Is propylene oxide dangerous? How do you transport it then? (What the hell punya soalan. (oo) lubang hidung.)  
• So according to the MSDS what thus the symptoms it said?
• What do you design in the project?
• What type of reactor?
• Is there any catalyst used? What is it? In what formed? In pellet? I thought its in powder.. lol
• What type of reaction?
• What is MTA? (matric tonne per annum sir.... (-_-')   )
• What is WAR? (waste reduction sir...)
• So how do you reduce the waste?
• What software you used?
• What thermodynamic properties you used? (Err?? What sir what what.. Peng Robinson? Redlich kwong?  Err what.? Last2 skalik buat muka blurr dan malas nak jawab sampai dia cakap its ok its ok. lol)
• What is your responibility in Nitto Denko?
• What type of properties test?
• How you perform adhesion test?
• What benefit that company gave you?
• What position do you apply in Ibiden Electronics?
• When the results comes?
• What is your salary? 
• If you have to mix an acid with water, let say sulphuric acid with water, which one you put first? Why? 

The question goes on and on.. Too many question from the MD, sampai aku pown tak leh nak ingat semua. Tapi dia bukan macam nak tanya sebab nak interview pown, dia tanya sebab dia nak tahu. Manager tuh yes, tanya sebab nak tengok respon kita. Nanti bila tak leh jawab, dia akan tolong jawabkan. Adalah sekali dua aku jawab I'm not sure sir, I'm not sure. lol.

Tapi honestly, walaupun aku tak prepare dengan study balik industrial training aku, project2 aku, interview session tuh went smooth tak macam waktu dekat Nitto dulu tersekat-sekat and banyak berhenti cakap tiba2 sebab dah tak tahu nak cakap apa. Mungkin sebab interview nieh lebih santai dan macam borak2. Boleh gelak-gelak dan share cerita. MD tuh pown bosan sangat barangkali datang join interview aku skali and bercerita itu ini. Dia cakap 10tahun dulu pernah pergi Kangar, hotel tak ada, tidur rumah pekerja company, sangat dirty, I have very bad experience with Kangar, then dia gelak-gelak. (oo)

In overall, aku lebih satisfied dengan interview performance aku ini compare to the other two interview session. Berdoa sangat, harap dapat. Walaupun dia kilang kecil yang buat detergent, dan dia still tanya either salary aku is negotiable. Btw, aku apply untuk position Production Executive. Walaupun gaji murah, sebab dah dalam line nieh, kalau dapat memang aku pergi. Doakan okeih!

Kesimpulan: Study dulu segala perkara dalam resume tuh sebelum interview.
